Lagoon of coyuca : vacation fishing trip
Acapulco Fishing Club offers to those who love nature and to families the possibility to spend a whole day on the famous lagoon of coyuca, in front of the hotel casablanca. Located 6.2 Miles north of acapulco, the beautiful fresh water lagoon is, about 10.5 Miles long 4.9 Miles wide and has a maximum depth of 23 feet.
It has a wide variety of tropical flora and fauna and up to 14 different species of edible fish such as robalo, pargo de piedra, carp among others and fresh water shrimps...
A boat cruise will allow you to observe a luxuriant tropical vegetation, coconut palms grove, mangroves and water hyacinths floating along the shore, and will take you to the “isla montoya” and “the isla de los pajaros” which are bird sanctuaries full of black and white herons, pelicans, ducks and dozen of other tropical species. Your vacation fishing trip will be nice.
The lagoon was the sitting of several tarzan movies and of rambo 2.

In the world of gamefish, the snook is always a gentleman and a prize that always ignites an adrenaline rush when a starting explosion at the surface followed by an aerobatic display announces hook-up. Trackle Tip : Snook prefer the warm temperate waters of the Atlantic and Pacific coastal, areas with temperatures of 70-86° F. Bait fishing with shrimp or live pinfish,trolling with artificials, and casting medium sinking or floating lures are recommended for the best results. |
